On June 23, the expert review meeting for the draft group standard "Application Guidelines for Doors in Hospital Buildings", jointly compiled by the Steel and Wood Doors and Windows Committee and the Automatic Doors and Electric Doors Branch of the China Building Metal Structure Association and the Beijing Hospital Building Association, was successfully held at the China Architecture & Building Press in Beijing. This meeting brought together industry authorities to witness a breakthrough in the application standards for doors in hospital buildings.

As the main drafting unit, Zeng Jianbin, Deputy General Manager of Ningbo OWNIC Technology Co., Ltd., participated in the entire meeting's Q&A session, and his "Medical Functional Area Door" technical solution became the focus of the review. After thorough discussion, the expert panel reached the following consensus:
1. The submitted materials for this standard are complete, and its compilation complies with the relevant provisions and requirements of group standards;
2. Based on extensive research, review of numerous documents, and relevant experiments and research demonstrations, this standard references relevant domestic and international technical standards, and the basic performance specifications for hospital building doors are reliable and the indicators are reasonable;
3. This standard is consistent with current domestic standards, providing technical guidance for the design, selection, installation, acceptance, testing, and certification of hospital building doors, filling a gap in hospital building door application standards, and reaching international standards.
The expert panel unanimously agreed to approve the standard.

The meeting concluded successfully in a pragmatic and efficient manner. Secretary-General Chen Hong delivered a concluding speech, thanking the expert group for their professional review and requesting the drafting team to quickly integrate the revisions and formulate a draft for approval, thus promoting the early release and implementation of the standard.
