Touchless Sensor

An advanced and precise touchless sensor is crucial, and you can choose OWNIC as your manufacturer. Our products have a long lifespan, reaching up to 3,000,000 cycles, and are unaffected by target color, temperature, or radiation, ensuring stable performance.

OWNIC is a professional manufacturer and supplier of automatic door systems. We offer a wide range of related accessories, including touchless sensors. These smart, contactless control devices enhance both hygiene and ease of passage.

PRODUCT FEATURE

Adjustable range from 10CM to 40CM, excellent anti-interference performance, neat and hygienic, unaffected by colors, temperatures, or emissions from targets, with a lifespan of over 500,000 cycles.

Technical Data:

DC Power Supply 12-24V
AC Power Supply 12-24V
Average Working Current <50mA
Max Sensing Distance ≤25cm
Min Sensing Distance ≥5cm
Contact load 30VDC/1A
Working Temperature -10 ℃~60℃

Under conditions permitting, for more reliable operation of the controller, it is recommended to use a direct current voltage between 16V and 20V, or alternating current between 12VAC and 16VAC. Additionally, installation locations should avoid direct sunlight, especially direct infrared rays, and the working environment should be dry with minimal dust.

Why Choose Touchless Sensors?

Superior Hygiene: Given that many of our project solutions involve door systems for medical environments, minimizing contact with public surfaces is a critical component of infection control and hygiene protocols. Consequently, these touchless sensors have become a standard feature for automatic doors in operating rooms and various other medical settings.

Low Maintenance Costs: As they contain no mechanical push components, these sensors are immune to issues such as spring fatigue or jammed buttons; consequently, their service life is significantly longer than that of traditional switches.

Barrier-Free Access: For individuals with disabilities—or those carrying heavy objects in both hands—there is no need to precisely locate and press a button; simple proximity of a limb is sufficient to activate the sensor.

Waterproof and Sealed: Touchless sensors feature a fully sealed panel design, boasting an IP54 (or higher) water resistance rating, which makes them easy to clean and disinfect.

How Do Touchless Sensors Handle Complex Environments?

In practical applications, touchless sensors often encounter complex environmental challenges—such as dust, intense lighting, electromagnetic interference, or heavy pedestrian traffic. Should operational issues arise, the performance of the associated door system would be compromised. However, by leveraging OWNIC's advanced technology and adhering to our expert recommendations, you can effectively navigate these complex operating environments.

1. Adjusting Sensing Parameters

Sensitivity Adjustment: Adjust the sensor's sensitivity based on ambient lighting, pedestrian density, and installation height to prevent false triggers or missed detections.

Sensing Distance Configuration: In high-traffic areas, the detection range can be shortened; conversely, in spacious corridors or wide passageways, the sensing distance can be appropriately extended.

2. Mitigating Interference Factors

Intense Lighting: Infrared sensors should be positioned to avoid facing direct light sources or direct sunlight; installing a sunshade or selecting a model designed to resist light interference is recommended.

Electromagnetic Interference (EMI): Avoid installing sensors in close proximity to high-power motors, frequency converters, or high-voltage lines; shielding or filtering measures can be employed to mitigate such interference.

Reflective Interference: Glass walls or mirrored surfaces can reflect infrared or microwave signals; it is recommended to adjust the installation angle or utilize models specifically designed to resist reflective interference.

3. Handling Heavy Pedestrian Traffic and Complex Scenarios

Intelligent Algorithms: High-end sensors utilize sophisticated algorithms to distinguish between the movements of multiple individuals, thereby preventing redundant or repetitive triggering.

Zonal Sensing: In complex environments such as hospitals or shopping malls, a combination of multiple sensors can be deployed to create distinct detection zones, ensuring precise and accurate responses in every specific area.

4. Regular Maintenance and Calibration

Sensor Panel Cleaning: Regularly clean the sensor panel to prevent dust or stains from interfering with signal detection.

Periodic Testing: Conduct functional tests at regular intervals to ensure the stability of both sensitivity levels and response speeds.
